Veteran's Day Chapel with the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative

Grace Christian Academy will honor local veterans at a special Veteran's Day chapel on Monday, November 11 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Chapel will include celebration of local veterans and special guests from the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative and end with a time for each student to shake hands and personally thank each veteran for his/her service.

We are also holding a personal care item drive for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative. Please try to bring in any of the below items to support homeless and at-risk veterans in the Milwaukee area:

• Socks
• Undergarments
• Soap
• Lotion
• Shampoo and Conditioner
• African American hair products (shampoo, conditioner, hair oil)
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrush
• Dental Floss
• Mouth Wash
• Q-tips
• Razors (men/women)
• Shaving cream (men/women)
• Hand towels
• Wash cloths

Items will accepted from now until Monday, November 11.
