My classroom verse for this year is Romans 12:12 "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
This will be my first year teaching high school full time, so I am excited to get to know an older group of students. I am looking forward to building relationships with my classes and having fun in the high school wing! I think that building relationships and really getting to know my students is very important to helping them be academically successful. “Relationships before rigor, community before curriculum.” I attend Passion Church. I myself am an alumna of GCA, having attended Grace from 3rd-12th grade. I am married, have a daughter, Leah, a son, Noah, and a giant dog. |
I am looking forward to being able to teach my students in person again this year. My verse for the year is “So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31
I believe in teaching science as the study of God’s creation. I also believe that students need to develop good problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. I plan to address all of these throughout the school year. I attend Fox River Lutheran Church and am involved in a weekly Bible study. |
My verse for the year is Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.”
I am looking forward to being in the classroom with my students, developing relationships with them, and teaching them about Bible and History. My teaching philosophy is to provide a classroom where my students feel safe and cared about, where I can encourage them to do their very best and to become lifelong learners. I am married and we have 6 children and one grandson. In my free time I like to read and spend time with my family. We attend Poplar Creek Church. |
“Peace, be still.” Mark 4:39
This year I am looking forward to watching my students’ eyes light up with new thoughts and ideas as they discover new things. My philosophy is “Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.” Education is a precious gift. I own a sports consulting business that creates hope and possibility through sports. I also host 2 podcasts. I have 8 children, 2 cats and a dog. I attend Fox River Christian Church and serve as a Women’s Counselor. |
