Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I attend Oak Creek Assembly of God. I have worked in the Children’s Ministry and I have been in a couple of their musicals.
I am so excited to be teaching at GCA because I have always felt that God has called me to teach. I feel this is where God wants me to be.
My teaching philosophy is that it is important for your students to know that you care about them. It is also important to make learning fun. I hope that I can show them that learning is fun and I hope that this will help them to become lifelong learners.
My verse for this school year is Romans 12:18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
I am excited to teach my students about the wonders of God’s Creation through the study of science.
I believe in teaching science as the study of God’s creation. I also believe that students need to develop good problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills. I plan to address all of these throughout the school year.
I attend Fox River Christian Church in Waukesha. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, especially political thrillers and anything to do with Star Wars.
My life/favorite verse is Isaiah 43:4 "You are precious and honored in my sight, and I love you..."
It reminds me that only when I am still, quiet and fully focused on God that He can teach me. Only then will I learn to be peaceful and live in safety in Him.
This is my 14th year at GCA. Each year brings new students and new opportunities to grow and stretch both teacher and students. There’s always something new to learn!
That our class will become a classroom of encouragers to each other and to the other classes.
When I’m not teaching I love spending time with my granddaughters, reading, and doing crafts.
My life/favorite verse is Colossians 3:12 “...clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
It reminds me that God is in control of all things at all times.
This is my 23rd year at GCA. Every year is a new adventure. It’s exciting to see all of the new students that God has brought to our school this year.
Growth! I trust that God will work in our lives to grow us up and shape us into rooted Christians who can stand firm in our beliefs.
I love to read. I also enjoy performing in community theater.
