I am so grateful to be serving at GCA for my second year. I love interacting with the students and being a part of a community with the families and staff. I am looking forward to another year of growth and seeing what the Lord has in store for our school. I love singing/music of all sorts, adventuring with my dog, spending quality time with friends/family, and being outside as much as possible. |
I am beyond thrilled to be working in the office at GCA! I previously homeschooled my kids for 6 years and then we joined the GCA family last year. It didn’t take long for it to feel like home! As a pastor’s wife, I am very involved in different ministries at our church, including children's ministry and worship team. Sunshine, hiking, music, and Alabama football are some of my favorite things!
My theme verses for the year are Lamentations 3:22-24, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in Him. |
My verse for this year is Joshua 1:9 "I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
I enjoy using my bilingual skills at GCA to help families, children and staff communicate with each other. I enjoy encouraging students to remember of who they are in Christ daily. In my free time I enjoy camping with my husband, two kids and dog. We enjoy playing board games, video games, swimming and music. We have been members of Discover Church since 2015. We are actively involved in various areas of ministry such as Youth, Safety and Security and Missions. |
I have been the aide in the kindergarten class for all of my three years here. Since the very beginning I have enjoyed every bit of my time at GCA. I am very thankful to God for guiding me in the direction to serve the children of Grace. This year my verse to guide me through the school year is- Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
I have been a member for 39 years at Jackson Park Lutheran Church - baptized and confirmed. I am a very friendly person, always sharing my smile with others to brighten their day, always leaving negative behind me, and praying through to see the positive. |
My favorite verse is Proverbs 19:21 "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.”
I attend Passion Church. I am excited about working at GCA because I love working with children and being able to share Jesus with them in everything we do. My philosophy is to provide a safe environment and to be able to help each child grow. I just celebrated by 34th wedding anniversary. I love spending time with my children and grandchildren. |
This is currently my 23rd year at GCA. I endeavor to instill in each child a love of learning, a love for God’s word and its principles, and to help them learn how to apply God’s work in their daily lives. My verse for the year is Psalm 90:17 “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of our hands.”

“Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” Proverbs 1:7 (Living Translation) This year I am looking forward to watching a new group of students grow into the young men and young women who God has purposed them to be. I believe that if you bring passion to your subject matter, it will develop life-long learners.
