My life/favorite verse is Psalm 16:8: “I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”. It is important to me because it is constant reminder that God is always in control.
This is my 23rd year at GCA. I anticipate great things happening at Grace as we strive to focus on the lord Jesus Christ and honor Him in everything we do.
What do you hope that you and your class will accomplish this year? My prayer is that the students I interact with will see Jesus in me. I hope students will grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God.
When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, sewing and walking. I have walked four half-marathons. I love spending time with our 3 grandchildren.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.
It reminds me that my relationship with the Lord is based on the grace He has extended to us and is not a by product of my own effort.
This is my 12th year at GCA. I am excited to see all of our returning students as well as meeting all of the new faces. I look forward to teaching in chapels this year as well.
I hope that sowing God’s word into the hearts of the students by words and actions will yield fruit in their lives as well as a greater understanding of God’s love for them.
