Our Grow with Grace breakfast is coming up fast!
Tuesday, August 17 from 8:00- 9:30 we are looking for local business owners, churches, and community members to come learn what Grace Christian Academy is all about. There will be a pancake breakfast provided by HotCakes to Go, a time to hear from school administration, as well as special guest former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and a chance to tour the building and meet school staff. In this episode Cindi and Mr. Harshbarger discuss Mr. Harshbarger's role in the Coast Guard. They also discuss our upcoming service drive - collecting toiletries for homeless veterans. K5 enjoyed a virtual field trip!
Their class was granted a Zoo Learning Experience Package funded by Kohl's. They had a zoom call with a zoo educator who taught them about the different kinds of vertebrates. They got to make a diagram as the educator and a Bonobo puppet explained the differences between the different kinds of animals. How fun! It's already that time of year - Apple Pie Fundraiser time!
Share our delicious pies with your friends and family, but don't forget to get some for yourself! Pies are handmade with a French crumb topping and can be purchased for $12. Order your pies online here or download the order form and turn it in to the GCA office. Orders for pies are due Friday, October 9. Pies MUST be picked up on Saturday, November 14 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., just in time for the holiday season! Any pies that are not picked up on November 14 will be resold. Pies are freshly made, unbaked and need to be refrigerated, frozen or baked immediately. We're so proud of our graduates and all of their hard work.
