Help send our high school students' to Washington DC by enjoying some fabulous Mexican food! Join us on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at either 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. You get to pick your meal time, but you MUST buy tickets in advance! Cost Seniors 65 and over.....................$12 Adults 11 and over.........................$15 Children 3-10.......................................$9 Children under 3..........................Free Adults will be served one taco, one tostada, one enchilada, rice, beans, and a drink. Fresh guacamole will be made fresh to order and customized for your taste at your table for an additional cost of $3.50 Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for November 15th and 16th!
The elementary conference schedule went home with report cards. Junior High and Senior High parents can come at any of the open times below and meet with teachers; on a first-come, first-served basis. However, you MUST meet with at least their homeroom teacher. Conferences will last for a maximum of 10 minutes. If you need more than 10 minutes with a particular teacher, you will need to schedule an additional meeting on a separate day. All students going on the Washington D.C. trip are also required to see Mrs. Hummitzsch for paperwork.

Conferences are on November 15 and 16 and are mandatory for all parents to attend.
Elementary parents should either sign up online using this link or check off your preferred times on the sign-up sheets and return them to the office as soon as possible. The conferences are scheduled on a first come, first served basis, so the sooner you return them, the more likely you will get your preferred time. We will send home your conference schedules with report cards on November 7th. Junior & Senior High conferences will be held in the gym this year. Every family will check in at the table in the lobby. Parents/Guardians must meet with their student’s homeroom teacher. All other Junior High and Senior High teachers will be available as well. This will be a first come first served basis. Please fill out the volunteer sheets to help on Apple Pie Day on November 11th! There are many ways to help: preparing pies, childcare, sending food for the volunteer lunch, and more! Junior and Senior High Students are welcome to volunteer; NHS hours apply.
If you plan to help with child care, a volunteer form must be filled out and a copy of your driver's license and social security card are needed so we can do the required background check. We are also looking for helpful volunteers to be apple pie coordinators and oversee the behind-the-scenes work before apple pie day! There are various tasks for all different strengths, including scheduling volunteers, coordinating food, tallying orders and more! Sell delicious pies to your friends and family and pick up some for yourself! Pies are handmade with a French crumb topping and can be purchased for $12. Use the order form below to track your pie orders. Orders are due in the GCA school office on Wednesday, October 4th. Pies MUST be picked up on Saturday, November 11th from 12 pm - 2 pm. Pies are freshly made, unbaked and need to be refrigerated, frozen or baked immediately.
