On Friday, March 6, we will be hosting our annual Spaghetti Social from 5-7 p.m. in the GCA Gymnasium. Tickets can be purchased in the office until Friday, February 28.
We look forward to sharing full plates and fellowship with our fellow Grace Christian Academy friends and family! The upcoming enrollment periods for the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP) are below. Be sure to register as early as possible as there is limited space and classes fill up quickly!
The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) enrollment is open from February 1 - April 20. Click on the button below to complete your application for either program online beginning on February 1. An appointment time is needed to submit documents to GCA. Please stop by the office with any questions. No doubt you have high expectations for your children; we do as well! We teach with a Christian worldview and Christian standards of behavior and high academic achievement is a goal for all our students.
This year, we have two types of events for new families to learn about Grace Christian Academy. During our Open Houses, families can tour the school, meet teachers, and review the curriculum. Our Come See Us in Action days are an opportunity for children and their parents to come for some, or all, of the day to witness a normal school day at GCA! No appointment necessary. Grace Christian Academy will honor local veterans at a special Veteran's Day chapel on Monday, November 11 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Chapel will include celebration of local veterans and special guests from the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative and end with a time for each student to shake hands and personally thank each veteran for his/her service. We are also holding a personal care item drive for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative. Please try to bring in any of the below items to support homeless and at-risk veterans in the Milwaukee area:
Items will accepted from now until Monday, November 11. All of our students worked so hard to prepare for the spelling bee. Congratulations to the winners! We're so proud of all of our students.
Mandatory Falll Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on November 13 and 14. There will be no school on Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15. Elementary Students Click on the button below to sign up for your conference time online. On the spreadsheet, click on the tab with your student’s teacher(s) located at the bottom of the page and type in your full name and your student’s name. You may have to hit the arrow button to the right or left to find your teacher’s name(s). Please fill in only the white open time slots. Time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are unable to use the online sign up, fill out the physical sign up form sent home with students and turn it in the GCA Office. Your conference schedule will be sent home with report cards on November 5. Junior and High School Students
Junior and Senior High students conferences will be in an open format in the gym on Wednesday night and Thursday. Parents/Guardians must meet with their student’s homeroom teacher, but all other Junior High and Senior High teachers will be available as well. This will be a first come first served basis. Please call the office with any questions. The date to order pies has been extended! You can still order pies until Monday, October 7 by 9 a.m.! Share our delicious pies with your friends and family, but don't forget to get some for yourself! Pies are handmade with a French crumb topping and can be purchased for $12. Order your pies online at the link below or download the order form and turn it in to the GCA office. Orders for pies are due Monday, October 7. Pies MUST be picked up on Saturday, November 9 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., just in time for the holiday season! Any pies that are not picked up on November 9 will be resold. Pies are freshly made, unbaked and need to be refrigerated, frozen or baked immediately. Watch Despicable Me with us at Flicks & Fellowship! Admission is free and concessions will be sold at the event. All funds raised will go towards the playground equipment. Bring chairs, sleeping bags, pillows, and blankets!
