My favorite verse is Psalm 96:12 “Let all the trees of the forest sing for joy”. It is important to me because it reminds me that the testing of my faith is a GOOD thing because it is then that my endurance has a chance to grow.
This is my 19th year at GCA. I am excited about this year because it is a new year, with my largest class ever! I am blessed to be able to pour both my love and God’s into each and every student.
This year I hope that my class and I gain wisdom and knowledge not only in our academic areas, but spiritually as well. I pray that each child leaves with a nugget of truth that they will always keep with them.
When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family. I love watching sports with my oldest son, I love watching my middle and youngest ride horses, and I enjoy riding my Harley with my husband. I also enjoy riding my Harley all by myself just to clear my head and to have one on one time with God while riding!
Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
It is important to me because these verse have always brought me hope and comfort in hard times.
2016-17 is my 2nd year at GCA. I am excited to work with a new group of students. I love to watch them learn and grow spiritually and academically.
I hope all of the 2nd graders will be confident readers, grow in Christ’s love and will serve God and others with a joyful heart.
When I am not teaching, I like spending time with my family and friends, reading, sewing and doing crochet.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight.”
It is important to me because this verse assures me that God knows the plans for my life and He directs these plans. There is always hope!
2016-17 is my 16th year at GCA. This year will be a great adventure. I love teaching and inspiring children to learn. Each child has talents and abilities that have been placed there by God. I have the privilege of helping unlock these gifts.
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my four grandchildren. My Hubby and I love to go to movies and just relax together. I am a Stampin’ Up demonstrator and really enjoy making cards.
My favorite/life verse is Romans 8:39-”Nothing can separate us from the love of God.”. This promise assures me that even when I face trying times and heartache, God is with me and can work things to His glory.
5th year at GCA. Each school year is a new opportunity to see what God is going to do – not just with the students but also with me.
There is always so much to cover in our textbooks throughout the school year. Even more important though, is helping each student grow in their personal relationship with Christ. I also hope to share with my 4th graders some of the stories have written as a way to encourage but also encourage them to write creatively.
I enjoy going for walks in my neighborhood. Our family likes to attend Brewers’ games, Appleton Timber Rattlers’ (minor league baseball), and Wave soccer games.
