A LOOK AHEAD:

The cold and flu season has arrived.   A few reminders:

1. If your student misses three or more consecutive days of school, a signed doctor's excuse will be needed for them to return to school.
2. Students should be fever, diarrhea, and vomiting free for 24 hours, without the use of medication, before returning to school when they are sick.
3. By law, we no longer keep acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) on hand for students.  You must send in a new, unopened container of the medications you feel your student may need at school.  This includes cough drops, antacids, and all other over the counter medications. 
4. The container must be labeled with the student's first and last name. 
5. Siblings may not share medications.  There must be one container for each student. 
6. As always, any prescription medication your student may need during the school day must be brought to the school office in its original container with the pharmacy label and directions attached.
7. All students must have a Doctor's excuse in the school office to be excused from gym class and or recess due to illness

Thank you for your kind attention to these details. 

Outdoor Recess    All students in K3 through 6th grade go outside for recess every day.  The only exceptions are if the temperature is below 15° or the wind-chill is 0° or below.  Please make sure your students are dressed appropriately.  Warm coats, hats and, gloves/mittens are a must.  Boots must be worn when there is snow on the ground.   Please pack an extra pair of socks in your child's snow bag so wet feet do not interfere with their day.

All students must have a signed doctor's excuse to stay indoors at recess time.

Scrip: Don't forget to turn in Scrip orders by 9:00 a.m. on Monday mornings.  On Thursdays orders will be ready to be picked up at 3:30 in the office, or sent home with your designated student. 

We keep a limited supply of Scrip on hand in the office available for purchase on a daily basis.

Tuition: REMEMBER, IF YOU PAY YOUR TUITION MONTHLY, IT IS DUE ON THE 1^st OF EACH MONTH.
