Policies > ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
SCHOOL HOURS
· First bell rings at 8:40 a.m.
· Classes start promptly at 8:50 a.m.
· Playground is supervised starting at 8:15 a.m.
· Classes are dismissed at 3:30 p.m.
The School Office is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and is closed only for school holidays. If you have any questions please call (414) 327-4200.
All parents, volunteers, and visitors are welcome in school and MUST check in at the office upon arrival. A name tag will be issued and is required to be worn in the building.
TARDINESS
Punctuality is important at Grace Christian Academy. For an absence to be excused, the parent must call the school office or send in a written note with the reason. Late students need to report to the office where they can check in and receive a tardy slip. Three (3) unexcused tardies per quarter per class for grades 7 through 12 will result in a detention. A detention will be received for each additional unexcused tardy after the third.
WITHDRAWALS
We ask that when first considering withdrawal from school, the parent contact a member of the Administration before a final decision is reached. After the appointment, notify the School Office. All tuition will continue until the withdrawal requirements are complete.
