Sixth Grade
Miss Miller
Hello! I believe that the purpose of education is to help a child develop socially, academically, and spiritually. Each child is unique in design and modes of learning. I strive to meet the learning needs of each individual in my classroom through hands-on activities and discussions. I also feel the classroom environment is an essential part of learning. It is my goal to maintain a learning environment that is free from distractions, disruptive behavior, and disorder. It is important that each student knows and understands the classroom rules and reflects it in their behavior.
It is my hope and desire to have clear communication with parents so that we become a team that supports and cheers each child on. Teachers provide a door for children to walk through, but parents provide the home front support which is essential. Elbert Hubbard said, “The object of teaching a child is to enable him to get along without his teacher.” My desire is to prepare each child to be successful in life, in learning, and in their spiritual walk.
